The Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Project provides public school districts and charter schools in Texas training and technical assistance opportunities that allow them to successfully implement PBIS strategies and interventions. The program development model in the PBIS Project involves a campus-based team that leads campus staff through the design and implementation of a comprehensive, proactive school-wide discipline system tailored to their individual needs. The model includes training on Multi-tiered Restorative Practices and the Interconnected Systems Framework (ISF) which targets school mental health. Technical assistance providers work with the entire staff towards developing a positive and successful learning environment for all students.
